About General Levy

Born Paul Scott Levy in 1971, General Levy is the English ragga deejay behind Incredible with M-Beat - the 1994 track that became the first jungle record to reach the UK Top 10, and remains one of the most recognisable vocal lines in dance music. He was already an established name in reggae before jungle, voted best reggae DJ/MC by the British reggae industry in 1992, and is now recognised as one of the MCs who changed the genre.
