Trust

Trust shouldn’t be a promise. It should be something you can check.

On The Door is more than a ticketing platform. It is being built as the infrastructure for the whole night out. We connect audiences, promoters, venues, artists and businesses, with transparency, security and control at every step.

UK based • Ticketing • Events • Payments

The full night out. Connected.

One platform. Endless possibilities.

From finding the event, to selling tickets, to getting through the door, it is connected in one place. No more jumping between platforms. Just a clear way to plan, sell and go to a night out.

What is live today: event listings, ticketing, artist and venue profiles, and door scanning. Booking venues and artists through the site, and paying them through it, is still being built. Until then, enquiries go by email.

Who controls what?

The right people. The right control.

Everyone in the night gets the control they need. You decide what you share, what you receive and how you do business.

How it works
01

The promoter

Creates the event, sets the price and controls the operation.

02

The venue

Has its own profile, and decides what it agrees to.

03

The artist

Controls their own profile and the information on it.

04

The customer

Sees what they are buying, what it costs and exactly which event they are going to.

05

On The Door

Provides the technology that connects everyone. We are the platform, not the middleman.

Payments

Your money shouldn’t disappear into our system.

When a ticket is paid for by card, the money is charged directly on the promoter’s own Stripe account. Our only cut is 50p a ticket, taken automatically at the moment of sale, so everything is visible and traceable at every stage.

  • No mystery pot.
  • No artificial wallet balance.
  • No waiting for us to decide when you get paid.

Gift cards and charity donations do pass through the platform, because they are ours to hand on. Ticket money does not.

One payments infrastructure. Separate connected accounts.

The payment flow

1

Customer

Pays by card

2

Ticket

Sold on the promoter's page

3

Stripe

Processes the payment

The promoter’s own Stripe account

Receives the ticket money directly, on Stripe’s own payout schedule.

On The Door

Platform fee: 50p a ticket, taken at the moment of sale.

Venues and artists

Payments to them through the site are being built and are not live yet.

Security & support

Built for the real world.

Real protection. Real people. Real events.

1

One ticket. One entry.

Every ticket has its own unique code. The first scan admits and every copy after it is refused.

2

Lost your ticket?

Open the link from your order, or log in and find it under My tickets.

3

Can't make it?

Resell it on the platform for exactly what you paid, never more. The old code stops working.

4

Something changes?

The promoter updates the event page, and the page you bought from shows the change.

5

Paying?

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Trust

Trust works both ways.

We protect the customer, the promoter, the venue and the artist. A stronger community builds a better night out for everyone.

The big picture

The night starts long before the door.

On The Door is building a platform where everyone involved can have a place. One platform. One connected ecosystem. One night at a time.
