Resale on On The Door is face value only. The price on your ticket is the most anyone will ever pay for it - no touts, no mark-ups, no bidding.
Wherever a ticket can be resold for any price, touting becomes a business and fans pay for it. We do not take a cut of a mark-up because there is no mark-up: a ticket changes hands at the price it was bought for, and that is the end of it.
List it
From My tickets, choose the ticket you can no longer use and confirm the listing.
It goes back on sale
It is offered on the event page at exactly the price you paid. Nobody can list it for a penny more.
Someone buys it
The moment it sells, your QR code stops working on the door and the new owner gets a brand new one.
You get your money back
What you paid for the ticket comes back to you.
A resold ticket gets a fresh QR code and the old one is cancelled. A screenshot of the original gets nobody in, and one ticket can never be sold twice. KaptiveScan, the scanner on our doors, already refuses a cancelled code.
Buying a resold ticket goes through the exact same checkout as buying any other ticket on this site. For an event sold through a promoter’s own ticket agent rather than through us, resale is handled by that agent instead.
