Matthew Nelson, from Loughton in Essex. He began DJing in 1988 and formed SL2 with DJ Lime in 1989, whose track On a Ragga Tip reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1992. He co-founded Awesome Records in 1994 and is known for breakbeat hardcore and house.
