About On The Door

Tickets for the night out.Scanned on the door.

On The Door sells eTickets for clubs, gigs and festivals across the UK. We are new for 2026, and we keep it simple: a fair price, a ticket on your phone, and one scan to get you in.

UK based • Web first • No app • 50p a ticket

What we stand for

Fair on price. Plain about everything else.

Going out costs enough already. So we tell you what a ticket costs, who you are buying from, and what happens if the night changes, in plain English.

1

The price you see is the price you pay

No booking fee, no service charge and no fulfilment fee added at the checkout.
2

Our only cut is 50p a ticket

When you pay by card, the money is charged on the promoter’s own Stripe account. Our 50p is taken at the moment of sale, so it is visible and traceable.
3

Resale at face value, never more

Can’t make it? Resell your ticket on the site for exactly what you paid. The old code stops working.
4

You know who is running the night

The promoter puts the event on and sets the price. Their details are on the event page, so you always know who to ask.
How we earn your trust

Web first

No app. Your phone is the ticket.

On The Door works in your browser. Your ticket is a page with a QR code on it: nothing to download, nothing to print. At the door, KaptiveScan checks it.

01

One scan gets you in, once

The first scan lets you in, and every copy after it is refused. A screenshot passed round a group chat will not work.
02

QR won't scan?

Every ticket has a short code printed under the QR. Door staff can type it in and it gets you in just the same.
03

Built for the door

Door staff scan on their phones with a PIN, not a password. They see the counts, never the takings or your details.
04

No kit to hire

No scanners to hire and no separate scanning fee. The door comes with every listing.
How your ticket works

Find your night

Organised the way you go out.

Pick the kind of night, then the city, then the sound. We list 32 UK cities and towns with a nightlife scene, and a city with nothing on says so rather than showing a made up number.
