Move has run on Exeter's Quayside since 1980, first under the name Boxes - over 40 years in the same intimate, 200-capacity underground room, a genuine rarity for a venue this size.
It's built its reputation on sound as much as booking: a bespoke Funktion-One system anchors the room, and newer additions - Move Studio and Move Live - extend it into full live-band nights and a DJ/MC practice space.
