The scene in Liverpool
Cream, launched in Liverpool in 1992, is one of the reasons the word "superclub" exists at all, and the city's reputation for a serious house and dance crowd dates from that era rather than anything manufactured since.
That appetite didn't go away when the clubs of the 90s did. The Baltic Triangle, a former industrial quarter south of the city centre, has spent the last decade filling with warehouse space and independent venues, giving the city a genuine current home for electronic events rather than just a historical one.

Where it happens
The Baltic Triangle carries most of the newer warehouse and independent activity; the city centre around Seel Street and Concert Square carries the rest. Both are a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street.
