Hippos took over the High Street building that used to house the Adam & Eve, a long-standing Swansea pub, and reopened in January 2023 as a 150-capacity bar and music venue with an industrial-chic fit-out.
By day it runs as a bar; by night it steps up into live music and DJ nights, spread across three open-plan rooms plus a rear beer garden - small enough to still feel like a grassroots venue rather than a big-room club.

High Street, a short walk from Swansea railway station, carries the venue and most of the surrounding late-night circuit.
